What is Radio Bravo?
Radio Bravo is a confidential messaging app for messages that were never meant to be kept. Every message self-destructs on a timer, and nothing is stored on any company server — your messages live only in your own iCloud. It is an end-to-end encrypted messenger operated by Ithaca Ventures LTD, available on iPhone.
How do disappearing messages work in Radio Bravo?
Every message has a self-destruct timer. By default a message zeroizes itself 24 hours after it is opened, and you can change the timer per message. When the timer expires the message is zeroized and removed from the conversation. A message that has already been zeroized cannot be leaked.
What does “zeroize” mean?
Zeroize is the radio-operator term for wiping something so completely that nothing is left to recover. When a Radio Bravo message reaches the end of its lifespan it is zeroized rather than merely hidden — there is no archived copy to pull back.
Where are my messages stored?
In your own iCloud — nowhere else. Radio Bravo runs no message servers and keeps no copy of your conversations or your keys. We hold nothing.
Is Radio Bravo end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. Every message is end-to-end encrypted — it is encrypted on your device so that only the person you send it to can open it. Radio Bravo’s operator cannot read your messages, and no company server holds a readable copy. Radio Bravo uses standard, well-established encryption.
Can the company read my messages?
No. Messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device and stored only in your own iCloud. Radio Bravo’s operator never receives your messages and cannot see who you talk to. There is no central inbox to break into or leak.
How do I start messaging someone?
Messaging is invite-based. Share a secure invite link or QR code with the person you want to reach, or accept theirs. Once you have each pinned the other’s key you can message. There is no directory and no phone-number lookup, so strangers cannot look you up.
Do I need a phone number or an email to sign up?
No. Radio Bravo uses Sign in with Apple — there is no separate account, phone number, email address, or password to create or manage.
Can someone screenshot my messages?
Radio Bravo detects and deters screen capture and shields the screen during screen recording. Be honest about the limits, though: a second device photographing the screen defeats any software protection. The real safeguard is the self-destruct timer — the message is not there to capture for long, and a screenshot of a message that has already been zeroized cannot be leaked.
How is Radio Bravo different from other secure or private messaging apps?
Most messaging apps — even encrypted ones — run their own servers that route and store your messages. Radio Bravo runs none. Your messages are end-to-end encrypted and live only in your own iCloud, self-destruct is the default rather than an option, and there is no directory or phone-number signup. It is built for confidential one-to-one conversations, not for a public social graph.
Is Radio Bravo a good alternative to Confide, Snapchat, or other disappearing-message apps?

How do I delete my account or start over?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete Account / Create New Identity. This clears your contacts and identity from the device. Because we hold no account on our side, there is nothing stored with us to delete.
How do I block someone?
Open the contact’s detail screen and choose Block. Their messages are filtered the moment they arrive, and you can unblock them again at any time.
